Summary: Kendall loves her life in small town Cryer's Cross, Montana, but she also longs for something more. She knows the chances of going to school in New York are small but she's not the type to give up easily. Even though it will mean leaving Nico, the worlds sweetest boyfriend, behind.
But when Cryer's Cross is rocked by an unspeakable tragedy, Kendall shoves her dreams aside and focuses on just one goal: to help find her missing friends. Even if it means spending time with one boy she shouldn't get close to...the one boy who makes her question everything she feels for Nico.
Determined to help and stay true to the boy she's always loved, Kendall keeps up the search and stumbles upon some frightening local history. Kendall knows she can't stop digging, but she is about to find out just how far the townspeople will go to keep things buried...

Thoughts: The shiver down your back. You look behind your back and out the window to make sure no one is out there watching. When you sit at a desk, you look to make sure that their is no carved in writing and graffiti.
If you have read this book, you will know exactly what I am talking about. Cryer's Cross is a very good and fun yet a very creepy book. Your eyes get glued to the page and with the way that the book is done, the plot line just helps you get pulled into the book.
I loved all of the character's in the book, especially Kendall and her OCD mind. She makes the books fun and exciting but still dark and scary. It was so amazing and it made Cryer's Cross an even better book then I thought.
The one thing that I didn't like about Cryer's Cross was the way it was written. The book was more narrated then it being told in Kendall's perspective which was defiantly is different from any book I have ever read but it was still really good and just took some getting used and in the end the writing was okay but I think the book would have been at it's greatest if the writing was in Kendall's perspective but the book was still really good!
I would rate Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann a 5/5 stars because the book was really good and there were just a few little things that made the book not at it's best but other then that, Cryer's Cross was a very well done book.

Rating: 5/5 stars
