Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

Publisher: St. Martin`s Press
Pages: 398

Summary: One night Kylie Galen is at the wrong party at the wrong time. Her parents decide to then send her to Shadow Falls-a camp for troubled teams. Only, when Kylie gets there she discovers that this camp isn't for troubled teens but for people who are different, and not then normal different. These people are vampires, werewolfs, shapeshifters, witches and fairies that train. All of these people are learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world once more.
Kylie has never normal, but she surely thinks that she is not a paranormal freak either. Or does she? Everyone is now telling Kylie that she belongs and insists that she stays. Now, at the camp, Kylie meets Derek and and Lucas. Derek is a half-fae who's determined to be Kylie's boyfriend and Lucas is a smokin' hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past. Both these boys are  irresistible and have a powerful hold on her heart.
Even though Kylie feels uncertain about this whole, supernatural thing, one thing is coming clear, Shadow Falls is where she belongs.

Thoughts: Born at Midnight is an exciting, adrenaline rush kind of book. You know when you are like, stuck in something? Well, thats how I felt with this book. I mean that whole aspect is just amazing because have you ever read a book or many other books that include allmost every kind of supernatural? Werewolfs, Vampires, Shapeshifters, Faries, Half Fae, Healers and so many more. Even the main character Kylie, she doesn't even know what she is which is one of the whole parts of the story, thrying to figure out what Kylie is.
Another big thing about Born at Midnight is the controversy between the two guys that both are competely in LOVE with Kylie. Their names are Derek and Lucas. They have a huge love triangle just like in Twilight. Derek likes Kylie and Kylie likes Derek and Kylie likes Lucas and Lucas likes Kylie but Derek and Lucas competely despise eachother.
I love how C.C Hunter gets everything to play out so well in the book and makes everything go well and flow throughout the whole book. Her writing just makes everything right in the book because if the writing was just plain old horrible, then I think Born at Midnight would be half as good as it actually is.
I would say that Born at Midnight is a fantastic read and I would read the rest of the series NOW! Actually, I have already finished the next two and am waiting for the fourth and I think last book in the series. The books are so good and I want everyone to read them and then just tell me what you think.
I gave Born at Midnight a 5/5 stars becasue it was just so, so good and I couldn't get my face out of it. So, great read and pretty easy as well. Have a Wonderful Day For Reading!
